What is Vitamin?
Generally Vitamin is extensively
classified into Fat-soluble Vitamin
and Water-soluble Vitamin. Fat
-soluble Vitamin is soluble in fat or fat-soluble
organic solvent. Vitamin A.D.E£Ë,etc are
categorized in it. They can endure heat
much more than water-soluble and they are
comparatively less lost during cooking and
food processing. Also they are easily kept
in body.
On the other hand, Water-soluble Vitamin
is easily soluble in water. |

Vitamin B.C.L.P,etc are classified as
it. Vitamin C, one of them, is a white water-soluble
crystal and it helps nutrition metabolism
by a process of oxidation and reduction in
a living body. It is necessary for our body
to form and to keep collagen which have the
cells adhered like cement.
Accordingly the higher the contained quantity
of Vitamin C is in our cellular tissues, the
stronger it can resist to fever or infection.
But regretably Vitamin C is not formed in
human body. |
|
| Is there any
reason to ingest Vitamin C?
Because the function of Vitamin in the
body is diverse. Most of them become enzyme
components and they take part in the metabolism
of carbohydrate, fat, protein, meneral.
Human life phenomenon is continuously kept
by numerous chemical reaction in a living
body tissues, these biochemical reactions
are normally processing when enzyme as an
organic catalyst exists.
Accordingly when Vitamin as an enzyme or
coenzyme supporting the role of enzyme is
not enough, the metabolism in the body which
is necessary to keep life phnomenon may
be too much inhibited. If we only expect
to prevent scurvy, we can resist to get
scurvy with a very little quantity of Vitamin
C.
But the reasons why we recommend much
more quantity than the recommended maximum
are:
1. The moderners can ingest the quantity
of Vitamin C through the meal a little more
than the recommended minimum but it is not
enough for our body.
2. The sufficient and needed quantity means
that passively to conserve in the body but
positively to prevent the morbid aging as
an antioxident and to provide the satisfactory
quantity for an active life.
3. In addition most moderners are forced
to ingest much more Vitamin C.
4. Also each person on his own condition
varies from the needed quantity of Vitamin
C. |
